FAAD, Associate Clinical Professor
Dr. Yen received his medical degree at Xuzhou Medical College and finished his clinical fellowship at the prestigious Beijing Medical University. After practicing dermatology in China, Dr. Yen conducted research at the University of California, San Diego as a research faculty. With his research focus on ultra light on skin, Dr. Yen authored and co-authored multiple publications in reputable international journals. Furthermore, he was awarded with grants from the Dermatology Foundation for his "recognition of the contributions made to expanded knowledge in the field of dermatology."
Furthering his clinical training, Dr. Yen graduated from an internship at Loyola University, Chicago and completed his dermatology residency at the University of California, San Diego. Since he had significant clinical experience in dermatology, he focused his residency on dermatological surgery, specifically Mohs micrographic surgery to treat skin cancers.
Currently, Dr. Yen holds memberships in American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatological Surgery, American Society of Mohs Surgery and Dermatology Foundation Leader's Society. Dr. Yen serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California-Davis in the Department of Dermatology. |
